Fatal Skateboard Crash - Central Coast

A man has died after falling from an electric skateboard on the state's Central Coast.

About 6pm on Sunday (18 November 2024), emergency services were called to Trafalgar Ave, Umina Beach following reports a man had fallen from an electric skateboard.

The rider, a 45-year-old man was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being airlifted to Royal North Shore Hospital in a critical condition, where he later died.

A report will be prepared for the coroner.
