A man has died after he was involved in a single vehicle motorcycle traffic crash in Bridgeman Downs, Sunday, January 19.
Police and emergency services were called to Bridgeman Road about 3:20pm following reports of serious injuries to a motorcycle rider. Initial investigations suggest the rider was travelling north on Bridgeman Road prior to the crash and has been thrown from the motorcycle after colliding with a tree on the nature strip that divides both directions of traffic.
On attendance Police have observed the rider, a 25-year-old Arana Hills man, to have injuries not compatible with life and he was declared deceased at the scene.
Investigations into the cause of the crash are ongoing.
Anyone with information or relevant vision or dashcam that can assist investigations or may have seen the rider prior to the crash is urged to contact police.
