Police are investigating a fatal traffic crash that occurred on Childers Road at Cordalba this morning, Queensland Police say.
Preliminary investigations indicate around 8.30am two vehicles have been involved in a head-on collision just north of Tardas Road.
The driver of one of the vehicles, a 48-year-old Walkervale man, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The 34-year-old female driver of the second vehicle from Apple Creek Creek was treated for minor injuries.
Childers Road (Isis Highway) is now open to traffic.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
