Fatal Traffic Crash at Mount Carbine: Police Respond

A man has died following a fatal two-vehicle traffic crash in Mount Carbine this morning, November 2.

Around 9.20am, a truck and vehicle were travelling in opposite directions on the Mulligan Highway when they crashed.

The driver and sole occupant of the Prime Mover, a 39-year-old White Rock man, was airlifted to Cairns Hospital for observation.

A man in his 20s, the driver and sole occupant of the vehicle, died at the scene.

Investigations into the crash are ongoing.
