Police are investigating a fatal, single vehicle traffic crash in Bucasia overnight, Queensland Police say.
Initial investigations indicate at around 2am a car left Shoal Point Road and collided with a power pole.
The driver of the vehicle, a 21-year-old man from Mackay, was transported to the Mackay Base Hospital with serious injuries where he later died.
Investigations into the cause of the crash are continuing.
