A 37-year-old woman has died in hospital after a single vehicle traffic crash near Gayndah last month, Queensland Police say.
Around 1am on September 30, a member of the public located a vehicle in bushland off Gayndah Mundubbera Road, approximately 10 kilometres west of Gayndah.
Emergency services attended the scene where they extracted the driver from the vehicle.
The female driver and sole occupant of the vehicle, was airlifted to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital for treatment for significant head injuries.
The woman from Gayndah was pronounced deceased in hospital on October 15.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating and is appealing for any information regarding the incident.
