The Bruce Highway is blocked in both directions following a fatal traffic crash south of Maryborough, Queensland Police say.
Police and emergency services were called to the scene approximately 6 kilometres north of Tiaro at 3:15pm following reports of a multi-vehicle crash involving at least 4 vehicles.
The Bruce Highway is currently closed in both directions and is expected to be for some time.
Police are urging motorists to avoid the area or delay travel if possible.
Diversions are in place via Mungar Road or Maryborough-Cooloola Road.
