Fatal Traffic Crash in Rocklea: Police Respond

Police are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information following a fatal single-vehicle traffic crash at Rocklea in Brisbane south this morning, July 11.

Emergency services were called around 3.20am to reports of a car rollover on the Ipswich Motorway on-ramp at Granard Road.

Initial investigations indicate the car rolled over after colliding with a concrete barrier.

A 32-year-old man from Orange in New South Wales who was the driver and sole occupant of the vehicle, sustained critical injuries and was declared deceased at the scene.

Anyone with dashcam or CCTV from the area around the time of the crash is asked to contact police.

Forensic Crash Unit investigations are continuing.
