Fatal Traffic Crash: Police on Scene at Darling Downs

Two people have died following a single-vehicle traffic crash in Brooklands yesterday morning, November 5.

Around 11:05am, emergency services were called to reports a blue Subaru Forester was on fire on Nanango Brooklands Road.

Initial investigations indicate the car left the road and struck a tree, before catching alight.

The driver, a 55-year-old Logan Central woman, and passenger, an 82-year-old Nanango man, died at the scene.

Investigations into the crash are ongoing.
