Fatal Traffic Incident at Cooloola Recreation Reserve

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating a fatal single vehicle rollover at Cooloola Recreation Reserve this morning, November 26.

Initial investigations indicate at 11.50am a Toyota Prado was travelling on Teewah Beach when it rolled several times.

The driver, an international tourist in his 20s, died at the scene.

The four passengers, three men and one woman (also in their 20s), were transported to Sunshine Coast University Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Investigations are ongoing.
