A man has died after he was struck by a car at Oakhurst yesterday evening, Queensland Police say.
Preliminary information suggests around 8pm a car travelling along Maryborough-Biggenden Road lost control and went into a ditch near Mungar Road.
The driver exited the vehicle and approached the roadway to seek assistance from a passing motorist.
As the man went to return to his car he was struck by another vehicle travelling along the road.
He was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
