A 29-year-old Benaraby man died this morning after being struck by a truck on Gladstone Benaraby Road at Wurdong Heights at around 2.20am (September 19).
The truck driver, a 41-year-old man, immediately stopped his vehicle and called emergency services, however the man was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Police are appealing for anyone who was travelling along Gladstone Benaraby Road from around 2am to contact them.
