A man has died following a two-vehicle crash on the state's south coast.
About 3.30pm yesterday (Monday 3 June 2024) emergency services were called to the Princes Highway near Turpentine Road, Tomerong, following reports of a crash.
On arrival, officers attached to South Coast Police District found two vehicles had collided head-on.
NSW Ambulance paramedics treated a 46-year-old driver; however, he died at the scene.
The second driver – a 67-year-old man – was trapped for some time before being released and taken to St George Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
There were no other occupants in the vehicles.
A crime scene was established and forensically examined by specialist police.
A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
