A man has died following a crash in Sydney's west overnight.
About 8.15pm (Sunday 9 July 2023), emergency services were called to Desborough Road, Colyton, following reports of a two-vehicle crash between a Mazda 6 and a Toyota Kluger.
Police have been told the two vehicles collided before the Mazda continued and crashed into a nearby fence.
The driver of the Mazda – a 35-year-old man – was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics, however he died at the scene.
The driver of the Toyota was not injured, and he was taken to Nepean Hospital for mandatory testing.
Officers attached to Nepean Police Area Command established a crime scene, which will be forensically examined by specialist police.
A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
