A man has died following a two-vehicle crash on the state's Central Coast.
About 6.45pm yesterday (Friday 13 September 2024), emergency services were called to The Entrance Road, Forresters Beach, following reports of a two-vehicle collision.
Officers attached to Brisbane Water Police District attended and were told two vehicles travelling in the opposite direction collided head on.
The driver of the sedan, a 53-year-old man, died at the scene. He is yet to be formally identified.
The driver of the utility vehicle, a 30-year-old man, and his passenger, a 29-year-old woman, were treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics at the scene and taken to hospital in stable conditions.
A crime scene was established and investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash has commenced.
Localised traffic diversions are in place and motorists are urged to avoid the area.
