Fatal Two-vehicle Crash - Yarras

Two people have died following a two-vehicle crash on the Mid North Coast.

About 5:15pm today (Wednesday 2 April 2025), emergency services were called to the Oxley Highway at Yarras, west of Port Macquarie, following reports of a two-vehicle crash involving a truck and a utility.

Officers attached to Mid North Coast attended to find a Mitsubishi truck and an Isuzu utility had collided head-on, killing both drivers.

They are both yet to be formally identified.

The Oxley Highway is closed in both directions at Yarras, just east of Mount Seaview.

The road is closed west of Forbes River Road.

Motorists are advised to avoid the area as there are no suitable diversions.

There were no other injuries reported due to this incident.

A crime scene has been established which will be examined by specialist officers.

A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
