Monash Council was pleased to receive a funding commitment for the upcoming federal election from Dr Katie Allen, the Liberal candidate for Chisholm, of $60,000 for the construction of netting behind the goals at Pinewood Reserve, Mount Waverley. This commitment would support a project that Council has been exploring for local sporting clubs, Mount Waverley Blues Football Club and Mount Waverley Cricket Club.
There is no set date for the federal election, but it is due to take place this year. We encourage you to check and, if necessary, update your enrolment details on the Australian Electoral Commission website.
