Federation Centenary Fountains site works
The National Capital Authority (NCA) will today temporarily close the Federation Centenary Fountains for site works.
The works, which will include the removal of redundant fountain heads and the covering of the resulting holes to ensure public safety, will be completed within two weeks, weather permitting.
In November last year, the NCA issued a call for design concepts for the renewal of Federation Centenary Fountains.
Following a review of submissions, the NCA engaged landscape architects Taylor Cullity Lethlean and is advancing the development of design concepts for the renewal of the Fountains and their immediate precinct.
