The Festival of Sustainable Choices was one for the memory books.
A big shoutout to the team of Zero Heroes who serviced the wash station and those who banded together to pack everything down when the southerly hit at Moruya's Riverside Park on Saturday 14 September.
The festival featured performances by local musicians, showcases of upcycling innovations, and interactive workshops.Highlights included a yoga session and a listening circle that set a positive tone for the weekend.
The workshop tent provided valuable insights on worm farming, composting, seed raising, sourdough baking, and sustainable skincare.
In the conversation tent there was plenty of chat and know-how on energy bills, fast fashion, eVehicles, permaculture, home design, and ethics of climate action.
Thank you to the NSW Stronger Country Communities Fund for making it possible for Council to host this event and support Eurobodalla's Climate Action Plan.
