Wednesday 28 August marks the beginning of this year's filtered water main flushing program for Moama and Mathoura.
The flushing process is designed to wash out any accumulated dissolved mineral sediments that may be sitting in the water mains.
While flushing is being undertaken, customers may notice discoloured water and reduced water pressure in their homes, businesses and gardens. This is normal.
The discolouration will clear up and the pressure will come back as we move into different areas. The discoloured water does not pose a health risk.
