Cardinia Shire Council has released a final design for an upgrade to the skatepark and surrounds at Garfield Recreation Reserve.
In addition to works to improve the skateable area aimed at beginner to intermediate users, the upgrade will include:
- new seating and shelter
- modifications to fences
- landscaping
- improved pathways
These improvements will benefit local users and visitors to the skatepark, as well as sporting groups who use the Garfield Recreation Reserve and facilities.
Construction of the upgrade to the skatepark and surrounds at Garfield Recreation Reserve is planned to start between March and April 2024.
