- 24 finalists named across six award categories
- New category added for 2024: excellence in wellbeing and learning
Education Minister Dr Tony Buti has today announced the finalists for the WA Education Awards 2024.
The WA Education Awards celebrate the achievements of public schools in Western Australia, delivering positive outcomes for all students.
Twenty-four public schools have been recognised for their innovation and commitment to excellence. Bob Hawke College, Lockridge Primary School and Morawa District High School were each named as finalists in two categories.
A new category was introduced in 2024: excellence in wellbeing and learning.
Winning schools will be announced at a presentation breakfast on Monday, 11 November.
The winning school in each category will be awarded $20,000, and three finalists in each category will take home $5,000.
The WA Education Awards 2024 are sponsored by LIFT Alliance, Stott Hoare and Microsoft Surface, Edith Cowan University, The West Australian and Maxxia.
