Bayside Council, in partnership with the Salvation Army, is hosting two free financial literacy sessions to help young people learn more about managing money.
These free sessions will cover basic skills that will help young people avoid scams and subscription traps. Other topics covered include learning how to save, understanding credit cards, insights on buy now pay later schemes, smart shopping, and understanding your first payslip.
A session will be held at Rockdale Library on Thursday 29 August from 4.30pm - 5.30pm.
Another session will be held at Eastgardens Library Thursday 5 September from 4.30pm - 5.30pm.
These sessions are free however registration is essential.
