Environmental Effects Statement (EES) is publicly exhibited for 40 business days, 10 days more than usual. Have your say at engage.vic.gov.au.

During this time, the community and stakeholders will have the opportunity to make submissions on the EES, as well as the works approval and draft planning scheme amendment which will also be exhibited.

Public exhibition of the EES is an important step in assessing the proposal. A Community Advisor Grant of $40,000 has been provided to support community involvement in the EES.

The project proposal involves establishing a minerals sands mine to be located 20km northwest of Bairnsdale.
