Fire Erupts at Adelaide Central Market, Emergency Crews Respond

The Adelaide Central Market is closed following a small fire this morning.

Police and MFS crews have responded to a small fire at the Adelaide Central Market which has caused a significant amount of smoke to go through the complex.

As a result, the market has been closed while MFS crews ventilate the premises. No structural damage has been caused.

The cause of the fire is undetermined and being investigated.

If you have a vehicle currently parked in the car park, you can access your vehicle via the lifts from Grote Street or Gouger Street.

Members of the public are asked to avoid the area at this time and further updates will be provided when known.
