Corryong, Bethanga and Tallangatta police have charged two men following alleged illegal hunting in the Towong Shire today, Victoria Police say.
Police responded to reports of illegal firearm activity in the Guys Forest area about 9.30am.
A 69-year-old man from Deer Park was arrested and will be charged on summons with firearms offences.
A 44-year-old man from Meadow Heights was arrested and will be charged on summons with firearms and drug offences.
Both men will appear in Corryong Magistrates’ Court on 29 June.
Police seized firearms, ammunition and cannabis during a search of the camp.
