Police are investigating the theft of five firearms after a break and enter on the state’s far south coast, NSW Police say.
Sometime between 11am on Friday 5 August 2016 and 8.30am yesterday, unknown person/s entered a shed on a property on Atkins Anderson Road, South Wolumla, south of Bega.
During the break and enter, five registered firearms and ammunition were stolen from a safe.
They include a Rossi side by side double barrel 12 gauge shotgun, a Winchester 30-30 calibre rifle, a Norica .22 calibre rifle, a Howa 270 calibre rifle and an Iver Johnson .22 calibre rifle.
Officers from Far South Coast Local Area Command are continuing their inquiries and are appealing for anyone who may have any information to contact Crime Stopers.
