Five Arrested After Police Car Rammed In Macleod

Police have arrested two women and three men after a police vehicle was rammed in Macleod this morning.

Officers caught sight of an allegedly stolen white Toyota Corolla sedan in Strathallan Road about 4.45am.

Police attempted to intercept the Toyota before it reversed at a fast rate of speed into Wilson Street.

The Toyota collided with a pole and a fence before driving forward, ramming a police vehicle and coming to a complete stop.

Officers swiftly arrested three men and two women.

No one was injured in the incident.

A 35-year-old Macleod man, a 22-year-old Mill Park man, a 28-year-old man of no fixed address, a 20-year-old Doreen woman and a 23-year-old Lalor woman are currently assisting police with enquiries.
