President Biden announced the following nominations today:
Admiral Lisa Franchetti for reappointment to the grade of admiral and assignment as Chief of Naval Operations. Franchetti is currently serving as Vice Chief of Naval Operations.
Admiral Samuel Paparo for reappointment to the grade of admiral and assignment as Commander, U.S. Indo-Pacific Command. Paparo is currently serving as Commander, U.S. Pacific Fleet.
Vice Admiral James Kilby for appointment to the grade of admiral and assignment as Vice Chief of Naval Operations. Kilby is currently serving as Deputy Commander, U.S. Fleet Forces.
Vice Admiral Stephen Koehler for appointment to the grade of admiral and assignment as Commander, U.S. Pacific Fleet. Koehler is currently serving as Director for Strategy, Plans and Policy, J5, Joint Staff/Senior Member, United States Delegation to the United Nations Military Staff.
