A body, believed to be a 47-year-old Nanango man, has been recovered from flood waters in Nanango this morning.
At approximately 5.30am emergency services were called to reports a vehicle had been swept into floodwaters along Brown Street in Nanango.
A search and rescue operation was launched and at approximately 8.15am, the 47-year-old man was located in the water near Sandy Creek Bridge.
Queensland Police diving unit officers have arrived and are still searching for the vehicle in the flooded creek.
Investigations are continuing and police will prepare a report for the coroner.
