Queensland Police will prepare a report for the coroner after the body of an 82-year-old woman was located at Bemerside near Ingham this morning, February 4.
Shortly after 11am police were called to Fulton Drive where the woman's body was discovered in a cane paddock.
Initial investigations indicate the woman was last seen by a nearby resident around 6pm last night inside a two-storey house.
This morning the neighbour raised concerns for the woman's welfare after being unable to locate her at the property.
The woman was located deceased a short time later by the resident after floodwaters receded.
