The recent flooding on top of prolonged rains have resulted in a fallen tree and carpark damage at Eskbank House.
Lithgow City Council has brought in contractors, and after consultation with Council staff, have removed the fallen tree, two standing dead trees and lopped branches overhanging buildings. Fortunately, the tree fell into open ground, away from the Museum's buildings.
Lithgow City Council staff have also resurfaced the car park bringing it into good repair. "Council staff have worked hard over the last weeks to mitigate and repair the damage to property from the recent prolonged rain," said Acting Museum Coordinator Kay Shirt.
