Bayside Council is hosting a free hands-on Food Preservation and Pickling Workshop at The Arncliffe Youth Centre on Saturday 29 March from 10am - 12 noon.
Learn expert tips and tricks from Marget Mossakowska from Moss House for extending the life of fresh produce and reducing food waste.
This workshop is to learn the essential skill of food preservation while making a tasty jar to take home.
Attendees will learn to not only reduce food waste but create unique and delicious treats that can be enjoyed throughout the year.
Whether attendees are passionate about sustainability, love to cook, or just want a fun and educational experience, this workshop is perfect for everyone.
No prior cooking experience is needed, and this workshop is for Bayside residents. Bring an apron, comfortable clothes and closed-toe shoes.
There's limited parking at Arncliffe Youth Centre or it's an 8-minute walk from Arncliffe Station or a 9-minute walk from Banksia Station.
