Residents of the South West struggling to put food on their tables will have more support thanks to a three year partnership between Foodbank Bunbury and South32.
The commitment will help Foodbank Bunbury to expand our Mobile Foodbank service in the South West, reaching more people who need food assistance. The essential funding support will also assist with operational and equipment expenses.
South32 employees will also volunteer with Foodbank WA, help to pack hampers that are distributed amongst the network which are more in demand than ever.

South32 Worsley Alumina Vice President Operations Erwin Schaufler said "We're proud to partner with Foodbank WA to ensure quality food and grocery items reach those in Western Australia's South West who need it most.
"Our commitment of A$450,000 over three years will support Foodbank Bunbury to expand emergency mobile food delivery services across the region, including the communities surrounding our Worsley Alumina operation. It will also support improvements to Foodbank Bunbury's warehouse facilities.
"Our team is looking forward to volunteering with Foodbank WA to assist in packaging its food hampers, which we know can make a big difference to those experiencing financial difficulty."
Foodbank WA currently support 26 agencies in the South West with more than 647,093kg's of food distributed in the last financial year which equates to more than 1.1 million meals. Kate O'Hara said the need for food relief in the region was significant.
