Police are investigating a suspicious bush fire at Highbury today.
About midday today (Monday 11 March), emergency services were called to reports of a scrub fire on Gorge Road.
CFS and firebombers battled the blaze which burnt approximately 2.5 hectares, and were able to bring it under control just after 2pm.
The cause of the fire is currently undetermined; but police are treating it as suspicious. There was no damage to any property.
