Swan Hill Rural City Council is pleased to announce the commencement of a Footpath Replacement Project in Dillon Street, Ultima.
Council's Director Infrastructure, Leah Johnston said works were scheduled to begin in the week commencing Monday, 3 February 2025, with the project expected to be completed by the end of March 2025.
"This project involves upgrading approximately 550 meters of aging asphalt footpath to a durable and long-lasting concrete pathway on both sides of Dillon Street.
"We're aiming to provide a safer and more reliable walking surface for residents and visitors while improving the overall streetscape," Ms Johnston said.
Ms Johnston said this vital infrastructure upgrade reflects Council's commitment to ensuring accessible and high-quality footpaths for all community members.
"We appreciate the community's patience during the construction period and we will work to minimise any disruptions," she added
