A former NSW Police Force officer has been charged over two common assault offences.
Last year, officers from North West Metropolitan region commenced an investigation into allegations of assault, which occurred at Asquith while the officer was on duty in February 2021.
Following inquiries, a 36-year-old man – who had been attached to North West Metropolitan region – was issued a court attendance notice today (Wednesday 4 May 2022), for two counts of common assault.
He is due to appear at Hornsby Local Court on Wednesday 15 June 2022.
The officer has since resigned from the force.
