A former police officer has been charged with further alleged domestic violence related offences.

In 2023, officers from Professional Standards Command established Strike Force Doumi to investigate reports of alleged domestic-violence related offences which occurred between 2022 and 2023.

Following inquiries, a search warrant was executed at a home on Thursday 8 August 2024 where police located and seized electronic devices.

A 58-year-old man – who was a police officer attached to a command within the North West Metropolitan Region at the time of the alleged offences – was arrested at the scene and charged with a number of domestic violence related offences where he was refused bail and has been remanded in custody.

As a result of ongoing inquiries, the man's legal representative was on Wednesday (21 August 2024) served with a Future Court Attendance Notice for intentionally record images without consent etc (DV) and intentionally distribute intimate image without consent (DV).

He is due to appear at Parramatta Local Court on Thursday 5 September 2024.

The man is no longer employed by the NSW Police Force.
