Three adults and one teenager have been arrested following a pursuit in Orange.
About 9:30am today (Sunday 9 June 2024), officers attached to the Orana Police District were patrolling the Mitchell Highway, Geurie, when they located a Holden Equinox which had been reported as stolen.
Officers activated their lights and sirens and attempted to stop the vehicle, however when it failed to stop a pursuit was initiated before being terminated due to safety concerns.
A short time later, the vehicle was located in James Sheahan Drive, Orange, with two males and two females seen getting in a Toyota Rav 4.
The four wheel drive stopped in a carpark on Anson Street, Orange, and a male, aged 30, and two women, aged 32 and 16, were arrested.
A man, aged 19, was arrested a short time later at a property on Sale Street, Orange.
All four people were taken to Orange Police Station.
A 32-year-old woman has been issued with a court attendance notice for drive motor vehicle during disqualification period.
The other three people are assisting police with inquiries.
