Four Charged By Police Investigating Robbery At Moree

Two men are due to appear in court today charged following alleged robbery and firearm offences in north-west NSW, while another two have been arrested on outstanding warrants.

About 9:40am yesterday (Friday 14 June 2024), officers attached to New England Police District attended a property in Adelaide Street, Moree and arrested two men, aged 22 and 31.

During a search of the home, a third man, aged 30, was arrested on an outstanding warrant.

A short time later, a fourth man, aged 38, was arrested on Balo Street, Moree.

All four men were taken to Moree Police Station.

The 22-year-old man has been charged with armed with intent to commit an indictable offence.

The 31-year-old man has been charged with two counts of use etc offensive weapon with intent commit indictable offence, two counts of stalk/intimidate intend fear physical etc harm (personal), stalk/intimidate intend fear physical etc harm (domestic) and destroy or damage property.

The 38-year-old man has been charged with an outstanding warrant for assault occasioning actual bodily harm (DV).

All three were refused bail to appear before Tamworth Local Court today (Saturday 15 June 2024).

The 30-year-old man has been charged with an outstanding warrant for possess prohibited drug. He was granted conditional bail to appear at Moree Local Court on Monday 17 June 2024.
