The Medieval to Metal exhibition at the Art Gallery of Ballarat is continuing to paint the town red, and to celebrate, a Block Party will be held on Saturday 30 November on one of Ballarat's most eclectic streets, Main Road Bakery Hill.

Everyone is invited to join in the free activities from 11am until 4pm and enjoy the great businesses, live music and children's activities.

Local businesses will be on show, with food available from Mr Jones and the Main Bar alongside local food trucks, Mr Squidgy, Woodside Food Co, the Coffee Drop and Big Cookie Co.

The retail shops in the precinct will provide a great market atmosphere, with their shops spilling on to the roads and special Block Party deals, even a special deal from King Kong tattoo shop, walk ins only $50 - $250!

Local business, Kank Wolverang Records will have a free art exhibition on display for the party.

Free yoga classes will also be run by Hansonium for all to participate in.

A small selection of vintage cars will be parked along Main Road for people to come and have a look and take some happy snaps!

City of Ballarat Councillor Samantha McIntosh said the Block Party will be a fun, free family celebration.

"What a great opportunity to paint the town red, celebrate the iconic Medieval to Metal exhibition visting Ballarat and enjoy a great day out in the incredible Bakery Hill precinct," she said.
