Free Drama Workshops to Boost Your Creativity

Shellharbour City Council is excited to support free drama workshops for high school students through the Incubator Artist Residency.

Supported by our Incubator Artist Residency program, actor and playwright Izabella Louk will be developing a new play about young people and the way they engage with the environment and sustainability. In conjunction with the development of this new script, a series of free drama workshops for high school students are being held at The Imaginarium in Shellharbour village.

These workshops are perfect for students who are eager to explore the world of drama, collaborate with like-minded peers, and make their voices heard on important environmental issues. Participants will have the chance to:

  • Influence the Script: Share your ideas and perspectives to shape the storyline and characters.
  • Play improv games: Enhance your spontaneity and creativity through fun and interactive improv exercises.
  • Character building: Dive deep into character development and explore different roles.
  • Act and direct: Take on the challenge of performing scenes and directing your peers in an inclusive and supportive environment.
