Seniors wishing to know about the local services available to them are encouraged to attend an information session next week.

The Seniors Information Session will be held at Council's Admin Building/Library at 240 Blende Street from 11am.

Attendees will receive presentations and information from Service NSW, Southern Cross Care, Kirinari Community Services, Broken Hill City Library, and local meal providers.

"It's a great opportunity for locals to find out a bit more about the many services that are available to them out there in the community," said Council's Community Development Officer, Alison Howse.

"We'll provide tea, coffee, and biscuits, and we really encourage carers and support persons to come along as well."
