Iconic children's entertainers The Wiggles have 'wigglified' the Palaszczuk Government's free kindy message on their Wiggly Big Day Out Tour this week, reaching more than 33,000 attendees at concerts in Cairns, Townsville, Mackay and Brisbane.
As an education partner, The Wiggles have been spreading the exciting free kindy message during their latest tour, helping to ensure all families have the information they need to enrol in kindy from 2024.
The Palaszczuk Government is investing an additional $645 million over four years to make kindy free for all eligible children, taking the total investment to $2 billion over four years.
This significant investment is reducing cost-of-living pressures on families and giving equal access to early learning regardless of location or household income.
As part of the Wiggles partnership, the Queensland Government has hosted Kindy Kiosks at each show, offering a photo opportunity and providing a space for families to ask questions about what kindy can offer their children.
Families can learn more about kindy and use the Free Kindy Finder online tool to search for a free kindy location by searching 'Free Kindy Queensland.'
