Freedom Of Entry To Borough

On Saturday August 31, the Borough of Queenscliffe will formally recognise the commitment to excellence and community service shown by our local Air Force Cadets, in a ceremonial Freedom of Entry to the Borough parade.

After 25 years of occupancy at Fort Queenscliff, the 429 Squadron Australian Air Force Cadets will conduct a Gaining of Freedom of Entry Parade in Hesse St, Queenscliff starting between Symonds and Hobson Street. The parade will step off at 11 am, marching South up the hill to halt in front of the Dais where the ceremony to grant the honour of Freedom of Entry to the Borough of Queenscliffe will be presented by Mayor Ebbels.
