FRINGE WORLD is back for 2025 and is set to dazzle our City of Light with a kaleidoscope of comedy, musicals, circus acts, music and so much more.
From 17 January to 16 February, the 14th year of the festival will see Perth come alive with culture and entertainment this summer.
With over 500 shows spread across nearly 100 venues, showcasing the talents of almost 3,000 artists and performers, FRINGE WORLD promises a month of unforgettable experiences for audiences of all ages.
The City of Perth remains the beating heart of the festival, hosting the lion's share of events across the calendar, with 45 city venues and some of the festival's biggest programs.
City of Perth Lord Mayor Basil Zempilas celebrated the festival's role in energising and extending the city's summer scene.
"The City of Perth is the place to be this summer, and FRINGE WORLD adds yet another reason for thousands to flock to the City of Light," he said.
"We're thrilled to once again sponsor FRINGE WORLD for 2025, as it not only injects vibrancy and entertainment into our city but also supports our economy, cultural landscape, and local artists."
This year's festival will feature a variety of city entertainment hubs, including our own Perth Town Hall, State Theatre Centre, The Rechabite, Ice Cream Factory, and the ever so iconic Pleasure Garden in Russell Square.
Presented by ARTRAGE, ARTRAGE CEO Jo Thomas said FRINGE WORLD will serve up a delightful array of treats this summer, brimming with fun and joy.
"FRINGE WORLD is the People's Festival where we invite everyone to come together! The 2025 program features an incredible 577 shows, including 124 family-friendly events. In 2022, City of Perth council approved a three-year sponsorship for 2023-2025 of $400,000 annually ($1.2M total).
