As stated by Prevention of Family and Domestic Violence Minister Sabine Winton:
"The Cook Government's commitment to addressing the scourge of family and domestic violence is long-standing, with more than half a million dollars invested since 2017.
"We know there has been an increase in both the demand for counselling and advocacy services and the complexity of client needs.
"The organisations who provide these services play a vital role in ensuring the safety and wellbeing of victim-survivors.
"This funding will enable more victim-survivors to get the support they need to heal and recover."
