Police have arrested a fourth youth and laid additional charges on another youth as police continue to investigate the recent spate of business break-ins.
Police attended at another Seaton home early this morning and conducted a search for further evidence. A teenage boy was subsequently arrested.
A 14-year-old boy from Seaton was charged with four counts of serious criminal trespass (Torrensville), three counts of theft, illegal us of a motor vehicle, driving unlicenced and being unlawfully on premises.
The illegal use charge relates to a theft of an orange Hyundai I30 sedan that was stolen from a North Brighton home on 6 February. Police believe this vehicle was used in connection with the Torrensville break-ins.
This stolen vehicle was located at Woodville West about 3.30pm yesterday.
A 14-year-old boy from Seaton who was arrested on Wednesday afternoon was also re-arrested at the property and further charged with three counts of serious criminal trespass (Torrensville), two counts of theft and illegal use of a motor vehicle. CO2400005424
In addition, the charge of being unlawfully on premises relates to an incident at West Lakes on Thursday 1 February where the youths are alleged to have entered a rear yard of a home.
Both boys were refused police bail and will appear in the Adelaide Youth Court today.
