Following the discovery of a large scale clandestine lab at Cocks Avenue, Morphett Vale, on Tuesday 18 August, detectives searched a number of other properties and have arrested three more men in relation to drug offences.
Also on Tuesday 18 August properties at Waterloo Corner, Rosewater and Kilkenny were searched with small amounts of drug paraphernalia seized, however no arrests were made.
About 11am on Wednesday 19 August a storage shed in the southern suburbs was searched. Detectives allegedly located equipment including glassware and chemicals inside.
A short time later, about 11.30am, police searched a home at Clovelly Park where they arrested a 22-year-old man from the address who has been charged with possessing prescribed equipment relating to items located at Panorama.
A further home at Lockleys was also search with equipment and chemicals being located inside. No one was at home at the time of the search.
About 7.30pm on Wednesday 19 August police attended and searched a home in Mitchell Park where they allegedly located illicit drugs and prescription medication. An amount of cash was also seized and a large amount of drug paraphernalia.
Two men were arrested at the address and charged. A 22-year-old was charged with four counts of traffic controlled drug and one count of supply prescription drug to another person. A 20-year-old man was charged with trafficking a controlled drug. They were bailed to appear at the Adelaide Magistrates Court on 4 November.
Today, Thursday 20 August, Detectives from Berri attended and searched an address at Cadell. There was no one home at the time and and there have been no arrests currently.
The investigation is ongoing and police have not ruled out further searches or arrests.
