A further two people have been extradited from Victoria over an alleged kidnapping on the NSW Victorian border last year.
Officers from Barrier Police District commenced an investigation after reports a 25-year-old woman was taken against her will by three people from a home at Goodnight, about 50km south of Balranald, about 10.15pm on Sunday 6 December 2020.
It's alleged the woman was dragged into a vehicle, before being dropped on Coomaroop Road, Tooleybuc, where she was able to seek assistance and notify police.
A 26-year-old woman was charged last year. She remains before the courts.
Following further inquiries, detectives applied for and were granted arrest warrants for two men, aged 32 and 54.
Officers from Victoria Police arrested the younger man about 8am on Tuesday (15 June 2021) and the older man about 8.40am yesterday (16 June 2021), both at Swan Hill.
NSW detectives travelled to Victoria where they sought and were granted the men's extradition to NSW at Swan Hill Magistrates Court yesterday.
Both men were taken to Dareton Police Station they were both charged with aggravated enter dwelling with intent-use corporal violence and kidnap in company with intent to commit serious indictable office occasion actual bodily harm.
The younger man was also charged with wield knife in public place.
They were refused bail to appear at Broken Hill Local Court today (Thursday 17 June 2021).
